My Story

Since I was a child I have always been enthralled by the world of writing. It began with a passion for reading, and spiraled from there. I recall long days spent reading and reading, propelling myself ahead of the class. The logical next step was writing. From about the age of 10 I have loved writing. It started with a comic strip on the wide-lined elementary school paper, and turned into using the ancient text editing application on our family Mac to write superhero stories. Writing functioned as a way for me to process the world around me, and come to terms with the difficulty it would pose.

Throughout the years, despite turbulence, and ups and downs, writing has remained a constant. Whether I am writing something eerie for myself, or something for a business, it has always been a constant. 

I have most recently begun furthering my professional writing, via certifications, and soon my degree. I am currently set to complete my degree by December of 2025, and am planning to apply to MFA programs in Creative Writing.

Outside of professional writing, much of my work these days falls into my new passion project, The Boot-Legacies, a niche oriented blog discussing and critiquing the collectible world and my fiction work in horror and psychological exploration.

My fiancé and I love to travel, and I would like to document some of that in my blog here as well!
